Africa’s Top 5 Least Stressed Nations Ranked

A new Global Emotions Report by CEOWORLD magazine has ranked Seychelles as Africa’s least stressed country in 2025, placing 57th globally. The study, conducted across 197 countries, evaluated stress based on work, money, social and family life, and health and safety. Mauritius (77th), Gabon (87th), and Equatorial Guinea (94th) followed as the continent’s most relaxed nations, with Botswana (102nd) rounding out the top five. Meanwhile, Burundi was ranked as the most stressed country in Africa, largely due to economic and political instability. The report highlights Africa’s diverse living conditions, with some nations offering serene environments and economic stability, while others continue to struggle with unrest and hardship.
