Allison Announces The 5th Anniversary Edition Of The Future Is Female Mentorship Program

Allison, a global integrated marketing and communications agency, with operations across 50 markets throughout U.S., Latin America, Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa announces the 5th Anniversary edition of the Future is Female Mentorship Program, the first and only PR and communications initiative dedicated to African female tech founders. 

Launched in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic by Africa-focused PR agency C. Moore Media International PR, which was acquire by Allison in July 2022, the program has attracted applications from 37 countries across the Continent and is a continued force in supporting African women in the tech ecosystem. Featured in Forbes, TechCabal and Disrupt Africa, Google for Startups Accelerator: Women Founders Africa Program, Salesforce Ventures Impact Fund and F6S have partnered with the program, which has seen a 253% increase in applications since its launch. The launch was exclusively announcement on Africa.com in recognition of Africa Day in 2020

For the 2024 edition The Future is Female Mentorship Program has expanded their partnership with F6S, the world largest startup database, and longtime partners TechCabal, leading pan-African tech publication, and Africa Communications Week, a global platform that builds bridges between communications professionals focused on Africa’s transformation, have confirmed their participation in the 5th year anniversary of the initiative. More partners will be announced in the upcoming weeks. 

The Future is Female Mentorship Program is a complimentary initiative that provides African female founders with insights into PR and communications fundamentals, including creating a communications plan, business storytelling, digital marketing, media relations, personal branding and more.

Applications for the fifth edition of The Future is Female Mentorship Program is open from Monday June 17th and closes on Friday, July 19th. The successful female founders will be announced August 19, 2024.
