The project highlights how Adroit’s scalable SCADA platform enables geographically dispersed facilities to be monitored and controlled from a single central control room, providing operators with real-time visibility of critical processes while supporting proactive maintenance and faster operational decision-making.

The collaboration between Adroit Technologies and Aril Technologies originated through their mutual relationship with Mitsubishi Electric and has since grown into a successful technology partnership serving the Nigerian oil and gas market.

Delivering centralised visibility across complex operations

The implementation enables multiple oil and gas facilities to be monitored and controlled in real time through a centralised MPLS cloud-based SCADA network. Operational data from remote sites is consolidated into a single control environment, providing operators and management with both live and historical information to support informed decision-making.

The flexibility of the Adroit SCADA platform allows each deployment to be tailored to the operational requirements of individual customers while maintaining the scalability needed to support future expansion.

Among the most significant operational improvements has been the deployment of integrated tank overfill protection systems for tank farm facilities. These systems combine Mitsubishi Electric PLCs and HMIs with the Adroit SCADA platform to provide continuous monitoring of tank status, alarm conditions and other critical safety parameters from a central control room.

By providing early warning alarms and automated protective actions, the solution helps prevent tank overfill incidents and oil spills, reducing environmental risks while protecting personnel and critical infrastructure.

The implementation has also enabled customers to improve plant efficiency, reduce maintenance costs and strengthen compliance with local regulatory requirements by preventing spills and providing continuous real-time monitoring of tank farm operations.
