The Venice Art Biennale 2026 is set to be a profoundly moving tribute, bringing the late Koyo Kouoh’s visionary concept to life. Titled “In Minor Keys,” the 61st International Art Exhibition will transform Venice from May through November, guided by the exact framework Kouoh developed before her passing. Rather than traditional themes, the show will flow through “undercurrents” like Enchantment and Rest, creating a space for quiet intimacy and collective healing. The team she personally selected has meticulously realized her plan, featuring 111 participants and indigo-draped scenography.
