Tanzania’s Jihan Dimack Wins Miss Grand International
Tanzania’s Jihan Dimack has won Miss Grand International 2026, defeating 75 contestants at the pageant’s finale to claim the crown. The victory makes Dimack Africa’s first winner of the prize and brings renewed international attention to Tanzania’s pageant representation. Ecuador’s Shyare Andrade finished as first runner-up, followed by the Netherlands’ Beau Megan Goos, Guatemala’s Ximena Carrillo, and Vietnam’s Emoura Phạm respectively. During the final question-and-answer round, contestants were asked to describe the qualities of an empowered woman. Dimack emphasized kindness, arguing that empowerment involves selflessness, compassion, and a willingness to serve others. Her victory marks another milestone in a pageant career that has spanned a decade. She previously represented Tanzania at the 2016 Miss Universe competition.
