Nigerian romantic comedy Call of My Life follows Soluchi, a warm customer service agent whose unfulfilling relationship with an avoidant boyfriend shifts when a routine work call connects her with Eli, a man captivated by her voice. Written by and starring Uzoamaka Power, the film grounds familiar rom-com tropes—love triangles, serendipitous meetings, and grand gestures—in distinctly Igbo cultural warmth and everyday Nigerian experiences. Beyond the obvious chemistry between Power and her co-star, Andrew Bunting, the film features stellar supporting performances from Beverly Osu and breakout comedian-turned-actor Justin UG.
