Tyla makes history with her second consecutive Grammy win, showcasing her talent and success in the music industry.
South African singer Tyla has become the first artist to spend a cumulative 100 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s US Afrobeats Songs chart, reinforcing her position as one of Africa’s biggest global music stars. The milestone follows her latest single, Is It Love, reaching the chart’s top spot, joining previous chart-toppers including Water, Push 2 Start, and Chanel. Her breakout single Water alone spent a record 55 weeks at No. 1, launching her onto the international stage. The achievement arrives ahead of the release of her second studio album, A*Pop, expected later this month and featuring both Chanel and Is It Love.
