Accra Is Calling: Creatives Connect Afrika Returns For Its Second Edition
30 November – 3 December 2026 | Alisa Hotel North Ridge, Accra, Ghana
Entertainment-Led Tourism: Transforming Pan-African Creative Wealth into Global Economic Influence
Participant Registration – Creatives Connect Afrika
Africa does not lack creative talent. Across music, film, fashion, digital content, gaming, sports, entertainment and cultural industries, the continent is producing ideas, stories, experiences and businesses with the potential to travel far beyond their home markets. The bigger question is how that creative wealth becomes sustainable business, cross-border trade, tourism demand and investment.
That is the conversation Creatives Connect Afrika (CCA) is bringing back to Accra. Following its inaugural Ghana edition in 2025, CCA returns from 30 November to 3 December 2026 with a sharper focus on commercialisation, market access, investment and the practical connections needed to grow Africa’s creative economy.
More than a creative showcase
CCA is built around a simple ambition: African creativity should be celebrated, but it should also be financed, protected, traded and scaled. Creative enterprises need access to markets, finance, technology, intellectual property protection, payment systems, infrastructure, skills and networks. CCA brings the people who influence those pieces of the ecosystem into the same room.
Expect policymakers and governments alongside artists, creative entrepreneurs, SMEs, investors, financial institutions, tourism businesses, technology companies, development partners and other industry stakeholders, all engaging around how Africa can turn creative strength into economic opportunity.
What will happen at CCA 2026?
- Masterclasses & Capacity Building – practical learning for creative entrepreneurs and businesses, with access to industry experts and potential collaborators.
- Forum & Thought Leadership – conversations on investment, financing, market access, intellectual property, digital transformation, creative mobility, tourism, technology, infrastructure, youth participation and regional integration.
- B2B Matchmaking – targeted business conversations connecting participants with buyers, investors, distributors, collaborators, technology and tourism partners, and potential new markets.
- African Creative Marketplace & Exhibitions – a platform for businesses and institutions to showcase products, services, technologies, destinations and creative work.
- Youth Engagement – learning, mentorship, networking and business engagement for young creatives, entrepreneurs and innovators.
- Creative & Cultural Experiences – opportunities to experience Ghanaian and wider African music, fashion, food, arts, heritage and entertainment.
Why Accra again?
The return to Ghana is intentional. CCA 2026 will build on relationships established during the inaugural edition while drawing on Accra’s role as a meeting point for African tourism, culture, business and creative industries. The city also helps demonstrate the idea at the heart of the Forum: entertainment and culture are not separate from tourism – they can be part of the reason people travel.
What CCA wants to unlock
The goal is practical impact beyond four days in Accra: stronger business connections, increased investment interest, improved access to African markets, cross-border collaborations and co-productions, better understanding of intellectual property, opportunities for young creatives and stronger connections between creative industries and tourism.
Who should be in the room?
CCA is designed for creative entrepreneurs and SMEs; musicians and music-industry professionals; filmmakers and producers; fashion businesses; artists and cultural practitioners; content creators; sports, esports and gaming businesses; technology and fintech companies; tourism and hospitality businesses; destinations; investors; financial and development institutions; policymakers; intellectual-property professionals; trade organisations; youth and emerging creatives; media; development partners; and diaspora and international creative-industry stakeholders.
Come to Accra to LEARN. CONNECT. SHOWCASE. TRADE. INVEST. EXPERIENCE. BUILD.
CCA 2026 is not designed as a conference that ends when the final panel closes. It is a platform for bringing together the people, ideas, businesses, capital and markets needed to strengthen Africa’s creative economy.
Businesses and organisations are also invited to explore exhibition and B2B opportunities, using the Forum to demonstrate what they offer, build visibility, meet potential partners and pursue commercial relationships across the continent.
