Finding Emotional Peace on a Surfing and Therapy Group Retreat in Atlantic Morocco

The water is beautiful, the sky clear and immense, and the Atlas Mountains loom behind. Psychotherapist Josh Dickson’s pioneering Resurface retreat encourages positive psychology, working with trauma, group therapy – and surfing. He runs sessions primarily in Morocco, as well as Devon, Bristol, Portugal, the USA and Sri Lanka. When not surfing or in therapy sessions, the group visits Bedouin caves, explores the dunes of Tamri and shares traditional dishes of tagine and couscous.
