Award-winning Documentary Amazing Grace: Yorubaworlds Signs International Distribution Agreement With Dalino Media

Paris-based distributor to represent the award-winning documentary internationally while SpiralH retains U.S. and Canadian distribution rights.
SpiralH LLC is pleased to announce that its internationally acclaimed feature documentary, Amazing Grace: YorubaWorlds, has officially signed an international distribution agreement with Dalino Media, the Paris-based international sales and distribution company led by CEO Simon Tchokonte.
The agreement follows a successful international festival and market campaign, including the film’s presentation at the Marché du Film during the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, where Amazing Grace: YorubaWorlds generated strong interest from international buyers, broadcasters, distributors, and cultural institutions.
Directed and produced by Raynald Leconte, Amazing Grace: YorubaWorlds follows the remarkable journey of Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka, exploring the enduring global legacy of Yoruba civilization and its profound influence across Africa, Brazil, the Caribbean, and the wider African diaspora. The documentary also features an extraordinary roster of internationally celebrated artists and cultural icons, including Brazilian music legends Gilberto Gil and Carlinhos Brown; Brazil’s Minister of Culture Margareth Menezes; and Afrobeat stars Seun Kuti, Brymo, and Falana. The production team also includes producers Rotimi Alakija and legendary Nigerian filmmaker Tunde Kelani.
Earlier this year, Amazing Grace: YorubaWorlds received the Programmer’s Award for Best Feature Documentary at the Pan African Film & Arts Festival (PAFF) in Los Angeles, adding to an impressive international festival run that has included the Marché du Film at Cannes, AFRICA USA International Film Festival, the Madrid Film Awards, AFRIFF, Mostra Internacional de Cinema de São Paulo, and other leading international festivals.
“We are delighted to partner with Simon Tchokonte and the Dalino Media team,” said Raynald Leconte, Director and Producer of Amazing Grace: YorubaWorlds. “Throughout our discussions, they demonstrated a deep understanding of the film’s cultural significance and international commercial potential. We believe Dalino Media is the ideal partner to bring this important story to audiences throughout Europe, Africa, Latin America, Asia, and beyond.”
Under the agreement, SpiralH LLC has retained distribution rights for the United States and Canada while continuing discussions with strategic distribution partners for those territories.
The agreement also marks the beginning of a broader partnership between SpiralH LLC and Dalino Media. In addition to Amazing Grace: YorubaWorlds, Dalino Media will represent SpiralH’s award-winning film catalog internationally, including In the Eye of the Spiral, the Haiti documentary narrated by Annie Lennox with an original score by Brian Eno, winner of the Best Feature Documentary Award at the Big Apple Film Festival, and Real Maravilloso, the acclaimed documentary exploring Cuba’s tradition of Marvelous Realism, which received multiple international festival awards during its 2018–2019 festival run.
“This partnership represents an exciting new chapter for SpiralH,” added Leconte. “We are thrilled to have found a distributor that shares our vision of bringing culturally significant stories from Africa and its global diaspora to audiences around the world.”
As Amazing Grace: YorubaWorlds continues its international festival journey, the film is now positioned for worldwide theatrical, television, streaming, educational, and cultural institution distribution.
