At just 19, Khosi Dlomo is pioneering tent pegging in South Africa, a sport with military origins that combines horsemanship and precision. As the only Black female registered in tent pegging in sub-Saharan Africa, Dlomo has competed at the World Championships and is determined to make the sport more inclusive. She began riding at six and now trains in Cato Ridge, KwaZulu-Natal. Dlomo aims to inspire a younger, more diverse audience, challenging the sport’s traditional demographics and ensuring its survival for future generations.
