From May 8 – 14, Film at Lincoln Center will be hosting the 31st New York African Film Festival, in which over 50 films from 25 countries will be screened. Showcasing the best in contemporary African storytelling, this year’s theme “Convergence of Time” is meant to focus on the way in which individuals represent Africa and the diaspora through art.
