Blanket Statement                                             

A colorful new exhibit at the Sanlam Art Gallery in Cape Town displays a wide array of traditional and contemporary Basotho blankets. Created by the Sotho people of Lesotho and South Africa, they are worn for special occasions or to celebrate rites of passage.
