Rwanda Charges a DR Congo Jet With Violating AirSpace

On Monday morning, Rwandan authorities said a fighter jet from the Democratic Republic of the Congo violated its airspace, just 48 hours after the neighbors agreed to step up efforts to de-escalate tensions.
The mineral-rich DRC is battling dozens of armed groups whose recent advances in the volatile eastern region have reignited old animosities and heightened tensions with neighboring Rwanda.
Kinshasa has accused Kigali of supporting the M-23 rebel group, whose offensives have forced tens of thousands of people to flee since late last year.
