By SG Editor·

Well-designed accessible pathways in South Africa’s national parks promote inclusive exploration for all visitors.
In a collaborative effort, South African National Parks (SANParks) and the Northern Cape Economic Development and Tourism (DEDaT) have enhanced Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park’s infrastructure to promote inclusivity within the beloved Kgalagadi. This upgraded bird hide now features a wheelchair-friendly walkway. With these improvements, the park can better accommodate guests with mobility impairments and the elderly, allowing them to effortlessly connect with nature through the newly paved path leading to the bird hide.
