Airtel Africa is launching a major initiative to boost digital skills across the continent by building new tech hubs in Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of Congo. This project, announced by Airtel Africa Foundation CEO Segun Ogunsanya, will nurture startups and tech talent in fields like fintech, software development, and digital solutions. He stated that Nigeria, the company’s largest market, is central to Airtel’s goal of improving 10 million lives by 2030. In Nigeria, this effort will strategically complement existing government programs, such as the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) initiative, which Airtel already supports. By fostering innovation and building a strong pipeline of talent, Airtel aims to ensure the global digital revolution includes everyone, creating a transformative impact on Africa’s future.
