A setting of historical consequence and a modernist masterpiece, the UN’s Africa Hall in Ethiopia recently underwent a revitalisation effort, which has upgraded it into a top-rate conference and cultural center. Spearheaded by Architectus Conrad Gargett, the effort modernized the facility while honoring the original design and restoring more than 500 mid-century pieces.
