Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals has extended its initial public offering (IPO) by two weeks, giving investors across Africa additional time to participate in what is expected to be the continent’s largest stock market listing. The offer, originally scheduled to close on October 13, will now remain open until October 27. The company said the extension responds to strong interest from eligible investors and will support efforts to improve access through expanded distribution channels and cross-border investment arrangements. The offering comprises 4.1 billion shares priced at approximately $0.39 each, with the company targeting about $1.63 billion. Proceeds will help finance plans to double refinery capacity to 1.4 million barrels per day, develop fuel storage and distribution infrastructure, and support future expansion.
