Nevertheless, experts believe that the short-term impact of the freeze will be minimal. However, organizations like Rights Not Rescue Trust, which operates mobile health vans for HIV services, have already felt the freeze’s effects. Nevertheless, Namibia’s Health Minister, Kalumbi Shangula, remains confident that aid will resume once the review confirms funds are used appropriately. Under Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the US government is evaluating all foreign aid programs to ensure they align with President Trump’s “America First” agenda.
