Canadian miner Newcore Gold has delivered a major resource upgrade at its Enchi project in Ghana, more than doubling indicated mineral resources to 1.5 million ounces. This discovery follows an intensive 2024–2025 drilling campaign across four key deposits. An additional 626,000 ounces of inferred resources add further exploration upside to an already compelling picture. The significantly expanded resource base positions the company to complete a preliminary feasibility study by June—a critical step toward assessing large-scale production viability. Further studies will be needed to convert resources into bankable reserves, but the momentum is building fast. Backed by a recent $7.3 million capital raise, ongoing drilling could unlock more value and strengthen Ghana’s position as a major gold investment hub.
