Seven Airlines Currently Operate the Most Flights between the US and Africa

The number of flights between the US and Africa is growing every year. Increased global trade, tourism, and migration have necessitated more robust air connectivity. Today, the route between America and Africa is served by several major airlines. According to Cirium, seven airlines offered a total of 957 flights and 262,437 seats in June 2024. Among these airlines, two are headquartered in the US, while the other five are based in Africa. Notably, two of the top three airlines are African carriers.
