Concluding this weekend, the latest installment of Art Basel Miami Beach attracted a global contingent of galleries and art lovers, but there was a noted change in the demographics of this year’s participants. Recognizing the growing demand for African and diasporic art, the fair recruited a far greater presence of both, which introduced an exciting dynamism to the event.
