The State Department has officially designated the Sudanese Muslim Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist organization, citing ties to Iran and its role in blocking regional peace. The move is widely seen as a diplomatic victory for the UAE, which has long backed the Rapid Support Forces fighting Sudan’s military.
