Currently streaming on Netflix, Afamefuna tells the story of a Nigerian boy, who moves to Lagos to become an apprentice to an Igbo businessman. Known as “nwa boys,” these young men get the opportunity to learn a trade and eventually be set up in business by their mentor. Conditions, however, can be tough.
