UK Accused of Racial Bias After Denying Visa to Nigerian Security Chief

The UK Home Office is under fire after denying a visit visa to Samuel Onyekachi Ibeawuchi, head of one of Nigeria’s top security firms, sparking accusations of a racist crackdown on Nigerians. Ibeawuchi and his wife, both successful professionals, had planned a short family visit to London to visit Ibeawuchi’s sister and her husband. Despite submitting full documentation, their application was refused, citing doubts over their intent to return. The decision has drawn backlash, especially in light of BKay Security’s high-profile clientele, which includes former Nigerian president Goodluck Jonathan and international footballer Alex Iwobi. The couple also cited previous clean visit records by family members. Critics argue the refusal reflects a broader discriminatory trend in UK immigration policy, leaving the affected families frustrated and heartbroken.
