One year after its launch, the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab App is celebrating the growth of a vibrant community that connects thousands of young people across Africa and Europe through learning, networking, and opportunities. The App is designed to create a free digital space where youth can access educational content, connect with peers, discover opportunities, and help shape the future of AU-EU cooperation.

During its first year, the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab App has achieved significant milestones:

A user said:

“I really love the innovation behind this app. My favorite feature is the Share tab, it gives me access to meaningful opportunities that help me grow and make an impact. I also absolutely love the badge system. Earning badges and tracking my completed lessons feels like a small pat on the back and keeps me motivated to keep learning and improving.”

Another user shared:

“I always wanted ways to contribute and actively participate in the youth ecosystem. I participated in conversations on Multilateralism and Prosperity across Africa and Europe via this app. It’s been webinars and learning so far!”

The AU-EU Youth Voices Lab App will continue to expand its learning content, opportunities, and networking spaces while remaining committed to one guiding principle: building with young people, for young people. Every update, feature, and improvement will continue to be informed by the voices of its growing community. Because after one year, one thing is clear: This is more than an app. It is a community.
