Owendo Mineral Port (OMP) is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Jean Telesphore Ella Ze as the new General Manager of Owendo Mineral Port. This appointment is effective immediately. With more than two decades of solid and diverse professional experience in the port and rail sector, Mr Ella Ze brings valuable expertise to his new role. Mr. Ella Ze holds a master’s degree in private law from the Université Omar Bongo in Libreville, Gabon, and completed an executive management course at EM Lyon in 2012.
Over the past two decades, Mr. Ella Ze has held several key positions, demonstrating his ability to successfully lead teams and manage high-level operations. These include Director of Rail Operations and Maintenance at OMP, Director of Rail Safety at the operating company of the Transgabonese railway (SETRAG), as well as senior management positions at renowned companies such as Aubert et Duval in France and SETRAG in Gabon. His extensive training in human resources management and his management expertise, acquired during his apprenticeship as a team management trainer at SETRAG, make him a competent leader and an effective manager.
