Ericsson Appointments Siseko Ngxola As Country Head Of South Africa

Ericsson has announced the appointment of Siseko Ngxola as Head of Ericsson South Africa, reinforcing its continued commitment to the local market.

Ngxola brings over two decades of experience in the telecommunications sector, having held key roles across multiple regions and industry segments. His career spans senior positions including Head of Sales for Market Vertical and Enterprise, Sales Executive for Mobile Networks, and Strategic Account Manager. He also brings international experience from markets such as the United Kingdom, Finland, and the Middle East, offering a broad global perspective.

He previously served as Key Account Manager at Ericsson and has been part of the company’s South Africa leadership team since December 2024.

According to Majda Lahlou Kassi, Head of Ericsson West and Southern Africa, Ngxola’s leadership, industry expertise, and strong customer focus position him well to drive the company’s vision for a more connected South Africa. The appointment also underscores Ericsson’s commitment to developing local talent and strengthening its strategic presence in the region.

Ngxola said he is honored to take on the role at a pivotal time for the industry, noting that connectivity continues to play a transformative role across sectors. He emphasized his focus on working with partners and teams to accelerate South Africa’s digital development and deliver innovative solutions.

His appointment follows the departure of his predecessor and comes at a time when Ericsson is navigating a rapidly evolving telecommunications landscape, with a focus on translating technological leadership into meaningful economic and social impact.
