Cameroon Receives 331,200 Doses of Mosquirix Malaria Vaccines

Cameroon’s health minister, Manaouda Malachie, said that 42 of the 203 health districts in the nation will get the first shipment of vaccinations. As one of the countries in the Sub-Saharan region that suffers significant bouts of malaria cases, Cameroon is the first African country to officially receive this malaria vaccine. However, feasibility studies on the viability of the vaccines have been carried out in Ghana, Kenya, and Malawi.
