A watchdog investigation into Prince Harry’s charity, Sentebale, has found no evidence of bullying, harassment, or misogyny, despite high-profile internal disputes. The UK’s Charity Commission did identify governance failures, stating that unclear descriptions of the roles of patron and chair, as well as poor processes for resolving internal complaints, fueled tensions between trustees and Chair Sophie Chandauka. These issues led to public resignations by Prince Harry, his co-founder Prince Seeiso, and several trustees earlier this year. The trustees had sought Chandauka’s resignation. She, in turn, accused the royal patrons of bullying and attempting to sabotage the charity. According to the commission’s chief executive, the dispute damaged the charity’s reputation, harming its capacity to fulfill its mission. Despite its findings, the commission allowed the current leadership to remain in place, but issued a directive mandating internal reforms.
