This comes as the US pushes for a three-month humanitarian truce. The Sudanese government itself has set preconditions for talks, demanding the RSF withdraw from captured cities. With the RSF now controlling the entire Darfur region, this political stalemate deepens the crisis of a war that has already displaced millions.
