Newly released documents from the Jeffrey Epstein case mention former South African President Jacob Zuma in connection with a 2010 London dinner. The emails show Epstein helped arrange a small gathering at the Ritz Hotel for Zuma, who was on a state visit, and invited a Russian model to attend. Correspondence following the event described Zuma as “impressive and engaging.” His foundation has forcefully rejected any implication of wrongdoing, calling the reports “agenda-driven journalism” built on “guilt by association” and asserting no unlawful conduct occurred. While being named in the files is not evidence of a crime, the inclusion adds another high-profile figure to the sprawling Epstein saga.
